How to play
Look at the hand-drawn pictures and fill in the words. It is free, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Basics
- Tap a square. Its word (across or down) is highlighted.
- Look at the picture in the corner of the square or in the bar at the bottom (adult puzzles show a text clue instead), and type the word.
- Stuck? Hint fills in one square. The 💡 button at the top right reveals the whole selected word.
The hidden word
Squares with a dashed border are numbered ①②③… When every word is filled in, read those squares in order: they spell the hidden word. Then pick the picture that matches it from four choices. A correct answer earns a stamp on the puzzle list.

Where is my progress saved?
Only in your own browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data clears your progress.
Can I add it to my home screen?
Yes. It then opens like an app and also works offline.
What is “Today's puzzle”?
One suggested puzzle per day, chosen from the ones you have not finished.
